Bonded Together is a private iOS app for couples that keeps two people in sync through a daily question you both answer, shared mood check-ins, real-time location on a shared map, a shared diary and calendar, and Thumb Kiss, which vibrates both phones when you both touch the screen at the same time.
Place your thumbs on the screen at the same time as your partner and both phones vibrate together, a physical way of saying you are there when you cannot be in the same room, and every day you both do it adds to a shared Thumb Kiss streak.
Each day Bonded asks you and your partner the same question, holds both answers until you have replied, then shows them side by side, which turns into a growing collection of things you learn about each other rather than another notification to clear.
Post your mood as a mood bubble and your partner is notified straight away, and because every check-in is kept you can both look back over weeks and see the pattern rather than only the last bad day; journal entries can stay private or be shared.
Live location sharing on an interactive map lets you see when your partner has arrived somewhere safely without having to ask, which matters most for long-distance couples and for the ordinary peace of mind of knowing someone got home.
Write diary entries together with photos, voice notes and emotions attached, keep anniversaries and plans in a calendar you both edit, and turn favourite photos into framed memories with captions and dates, while badges and milestones mark how far you have come. There is no social media integration and nothing is posted anywhere.
